Faith is the hand that receives. And unless we spend much time in the Word, we won’t know what is ours and what our faith can receive. The Word reveals our inheritance and what our faith can reach for. The Word is God’s revelation to us; it is written by Him and is not based on the natural world. Sensory truth is merely what we perceive in the natural realm. We should not be moved by what we see through sense knowledge, but only by the revelatory Word of truth. This is the basis that enables us to believe for the impossible.

Continuing her teaching on the things of the Spirit, Pastor Christine explains the word of wisdom. This is not the general wisdom that God offers to all believers. It is a specific word given as the Spirit wills and is a supernatural revelation by the Spirit of God concerning the divine purpose and plan in the mind and will of God. Sometimes a word of knowledge is combined with a word of wisdom about God’s plan and will. Many words of wisdom are warnings that must be heeded to benefit the hearers. Others are warnings that must be passed on to others.
