But wrong doctrine keeps many people from receiving healing. God’s pure Word, on the other hand, brings faith. When faith and His Word are in our hearts, we can receive strength and restoration to our bodies.

It’s impossible not to be molded by the world’s ideas and viewpoints — unless we’re regularly in God’s Word. God’s thoughts transform us so we can live above the confusion and struggle of the world. Through God’s Word we renew our thoughts so we can live on the higher level that God is calling us to come up to.

Are You Grateful?

A thankful heart is key for a Christian’s life. Biblical gratitude is being thankful for every day, for opportunities to serve, for God’s blessings, for the brethren, and for many other things. An unthankful heart leads to all kinds of wickedness. But a heart that continually expresses thanks and gratitude to God is a soul that pleases Him and that prospers.

How to Control Your Mind - Pt. 1

God wants us to prosper in all areas, including our minds! But if our minds aren’trenewed to His Word we will think wrongly. God makes our spirits completely new and pure when we’re born again, but renewing our minds to His Word is our ownresponsibility! If we aren’t vigilant to take captive thoughts to what God says about us, strongholds of incorrect thinking will build.

Serving Jesus in the Local Church

Serving Jesus in the ministry of helps is a supernatural service ordained by God. The local church is key to expanding the Kingdom. When you serve faithfully in the church where God set you, you help strengthen that local body so it can produce fruit and bring in the harvest. And we should serve cheerfully, prayerfully, and faithfully, knowing it is done for Jesus.

Winning the Battle of the Mind

Loving God involves not only our heart and soul, but also with our mind. Our thoughts honor (or dishonor) God. We need to be aware of our thoughts throughout the day; if thoughts try to come that contradict the Word, we can turn away from them and answer with the Word. Filling our hearts with His Word makes our minds strong, productive, and peaceful!

The Benefits of Speaking in Tongues

Praying in the Spirit (in tongues) has many benefits. The habit edifies, kindles the flame of your love for God, enlarges your spirit to grasp what God has for you, organizes your life, establishes you on solid ground, keeps selfishness out of your prayer life, strengthens your spirit, and helps you pray out your future as God designed it.

Peace in the Midst of Trouble

God promises us peace in the midst of even the worst circumstances. Pressures from finances, relationships, the unknown, and other things can trouble us — if we let them. But His peace doesn’t fall on us automatically. We must reach for it by speaking the Word boldly. He gave us the authority to enforce His Word! So, we can do as David did when he defeated Goliath and Jesus did when He answered Satan in the desert.

The Secret Place

God longs for us to draw near to Him and abide in Him continually. We can develop intimacy with Him by keeping our attention on Him, meditating on His Word, and getting quiet before Him so we can hear what He wants to say to us personally. Dwelling in His secret place keeps us in His peace, inaccessible to the enemy, and keeps us hot for Him and for the Kingdom.

Spiritual Intimacy

Do you long for spiritual intimacy with Jesus? Jesus paid the ultimate price for us to have a deep, warm, and private association with Him, even higher than the intimacy in marriage. We find the deep place with Jesus by spending time alone with Him and His Word. It’s where answers are, and where we can bear eternal fruit. Let us reach for spiritual intimacy with Him. It is what He desires!
