Following God's Plan Brings Prosperity & Satisfaction - Part 2

Following God always brings you into His plan, which includes prosperity (material and in our soul). We are redeemed from the curse of poverty. Jesus paid the price for our prosperity; He became poor that we might become rich. We may have seasons where we seem to not be prospering, but if we continue to follow His path and be led by Him, we eventually get to the other side, where we enjoy His prosperity. Keep God first in your heart and trust in Him, not in riches.

Jesus died for each person. However, nothing in God’s Kingdom is automatic. Each person must receive Him to be positioned for all that’s in His plan. He has a wonderful plan for each person. But to have His best we must walk in His plan, even if that sometimes means temporarily going backwards. But if we seek the Lord about major decisions and follow His lead daily, we can enjoy the prosperity and satisfaction that come from Him alone.

God Has More in 2024

Receiving what God has for you begins with His vision for you. We get His vision by praying, seeking Him, and searching the Word. Second, write that vision down, making it plain. God will speak to you about specific elements of His vision for you; write them down! Third, run with it—keep it before your eyes and speak faith words over it. Find Scriptures pertaining to your vision, and hold fast to it with those Scriptures; don’t let go of your confidence, no matter what you see that opposes it! His vision for you, fed by your faith and confidence, will come to pass!

Confessing Jesus

The Word is true, no matter what the world claims. The angel bringing Mary the news of God’s plan is true. Mary, a virgin, miraculously conceiving God’s Son is true (and angels are still active in the world). The events were witnessed, and the details had been prophesied centuries before. Mary agreed by saying, “Be it unto me according to your word.” Let’s not be foolish but agree with God’s word—including the miraculous! Let’s verbally confess this agreement, like Mary did, and confess Jesus is Lord!

Your Faith Will Work

Faith and words work together. The God kind of faith speaks and then sees the results. God and Jesus demonstrated this. God spoke in faith, and His words framed the world! In faith Jesus spoke to a fig tree, and it obeyed His words. Likewise, we speak His words in faith, knowing they will create situations that don’t yet exist. If what we speak doesn’t happen immediately, just hold fast—we have the God kind of faith that speaks and always sees results!

The Miraculous Birth of Jesus Christ

There are over 300 Messianic prophecies in the Old Covenant. A major one is that the Messiah would be born in Bethlehem (Isaiah 7:14). In Luke Chapter 1 the angel describes to Mary the virgin birth that Isaiah foretold (Isaiah 7:14). Modern science’s understanding of how DNA is passed down confirms that the virgin birth is no myth. And when we accept Jesus’ virgin birth we also accept His resurrection from the dead.

United Prayer

The Church is praying far less than it should be; that’s one reason for the problems in our world. Scripture emphasizes how important it is to pray, both privately and corporately. United prayer in one accord makes great power available to those we’re praying for. Paul modeled effective prayers for the lost, for those in authority, for our pastors, and for fellow believers. Let’s not neglect this vital prayer assignment from the Lord!

How to Control Your Mind - Pt. 3

Are you delighting in the Word, like Psalm 119 describes? We delight in it by hiding it in our hearts. The Word gives direction, instruction, and builds our faith. Satan wants to steal the Word from our thoughts so our faith is weakened. But know this: we have control over our thought life! When we align our thoughts with God’s thoughts, we can have a blessed and successful life.

A Sound Mind in the Last Days

In these last days, with crazy, useless ideas running rampant, we must have sound doctrine. Only solid teaching rooted in Scripture will protect, heal, and preserve us. We don’t have to fear or be swayed by what the world says. Do you want a mind that is undisturbed, undamaged, calm, and self-controlled? Sound doctrine is your answer!

Hear, Say, and Do

Do you want a life full of blessings? Do you want to be a blessing to your church, your children, and future generations? The way to this is by obeying God’s word and His voice. It’s not enough to just hear; we also need to speak it and then put it into action. When we delight in His word, His blessing will flow to us, and through us to others.
