God’s love is the foundation for everything. It’s because of His love that He acted upon that you can have righteousness, joy, peace, and healing. Jesus was thinking of you when He hung on the cross! When you know His love for you personally, all else falls into place. You can love yourself and others and can rest because you don’t have to "earn” a place in His Kingdom. Jesus’ blood covered everything. Be like the Prodigal Son, who readily received his Father’s love and forgiveness!

A main reason that we may not receive answers to our prayers is unforgiveness. Maybe we haven’t forgiven others, or God, or even ourselves. Whoever it is, God commands us to forgive, even if we were hurt and feel justified in our bitterness. God asks us to forgive because He forgave us. And He knows that unforgiveness hinders us from receiving answers to prayers. Let’s choose to forgive, whoever and whatever it is, and walk in freedom and in the path of His full blessings!

There is much deception in the contemporary church world, even in Bible-believing churches. Many have strayed from the heritage of pure doctrine and fallen into deception. Some false doctrines are: it’s not God’s will to heal everyone, God doesn’t want you to prosper; miracles and gifts ended in the apostolic era. We must love the truth, regardless of whether popular ideas go against that. Be willing to be criticized for taking a stand for the truth.

Just as Paul warned Timothy against false doctrines and urged him to stay true to the faith he’d been taught, so we must be watchful to remain in the pure doctrine. Many Christians — teachers and laymen alike — have become deceived by hearing unsound doctrine that distorts God’s Word. We must love the truth and hate lies. Holding fast to the sincere milk of the Word will guard our lives and help us be all that God intends.

Talk About Your Miracle

Wednesday May 22, 2024

Do you want to see more miracles in your life? Are you believing for something to manifest? Then speak God’s word aloud. Hear yourself say His promises, and do this often! The woman who had an issue of blood for 12 years kept saying that she would be healed — and she was! Also, thank God for what He’s already done for you. Always show Him gratitude. A grateful heart reflects faith and dispels doubt.

Living full of the Holy Spirit is key to living a successful Christian life. Living full means eliminating distractions and focusing on the Word and prayer. This makes it easy to handle life’s challenges. When we’re full, we automatically speak the Word of power against pressures. Living full helps us effectively witness to people about Jesus. Let’s be like the 120 in the Upper Room: they were filled, went to tell others about Christ, and found favor with all the people!

The Power of God's Word

We receive from God by both believing and confessing His Word. It’s not enough just to believe in our heart; no, “we believe, therefore we speak.” Jesus authorized us to release His Word: whoever says unto the mountain (any obstacle in your life) to be removed, he shall have what he says. Jesus instructed us to speak; He didn’t say He would do it for us. Confession (speaking) is made unto everything that comes with salvation: health, prosperity, peace!

The Power of Confession

Wednesday May 08, 2024

Wednesday May 08, 2024

If we love God, we love His Word. It’s a powerful sword. Our confession must have the power portion, His Word. The centurion understood this (Luke 7:7). “Confess” means “say the same thing as another or agree with.” We say the same thing as God; we agree with His Word! We must be skillful using the Word. We’re also called to profess the Word — publicly agree with Jesus — so the lost can hear the truth and be saved.
